Although this site is sponsored by the Jaltemba Jalapeño please be aware that the privacy policy for the directory is different from the Jalapeño.

If you enter a business on the directory you will probably be contacted with an offer to buy paid advertising and various other emails but not more than twice per month. If you enter your email as an individual we will add it to our contact list for various news related emails but these will be infrequent. In a future release we hope to have an opt in feature for individuals but for now if you do not want to receive this type of information please do not enter your email address on the site.

Of course if you enter personal information in comments or any text field we cannot prevent others from seeing it unless you mark the entry “unlisted”.

We take normal precautions to safeguard your information but we cannot take responsibility for the possibility of information becoming publicly available even if you do mark it “unlisted”. As we have seen in recent news even very sensitive private information is subject to security breaches of various kinds.
